MBA Grad

This picture pretty much explains how our kids felt after the 90 minute ceremony :)

Above is the video of Drew's name being called and him walking across the stage. I may have been a little teary eyed. ;)

Drew has worked his BUTT off the last 18 months. And that is NO exaggeration. Straight A's...and the very few A minuses he received would put him into severe frustration! My hubby is a HARD WORKER and I could not be more proud! He has sacrificed a LOT in the past 18 months. I complained a lot, but I really know that it was harder on him to be gone so much than it was on me. He never gave up and he never gave half effort to anything.

He graduated on Friday May 4th with his Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.

We are oh so thrilled to have him back!
Congrats honey!!!

Moo! Reese is two!

Reese turned two on May 3rd. We had a little family party and Reese told me she wanted it to be "cows".  The girl LOOOOVES cows! So cows is what she got! I think she loved it!

Reese is a character right now. She really knows how to make mommy and daddy laugh and how to push her brother's buttons. They are the best of friends and the worst of enemies. Most of the time they get along great and giggle, play, and chase each other around. But it takes one quick movement to have them both screaming!
She likes to do anything that her big brother does. Anything at all! We hope Maddux will continue to be a good example and a good boy because she mimics his every move!

Reese loves :
*Hello Kitty
*Minnie Mouse
*Cows
*Singing (Twinkle Twinkle, Happy Birthday, ABC's, Popcorn Popping, and Wheels on the Bus are favorites)
*Counting. She loves to count things and can count to 12 all by herself!
*Making faces. This is the girl of many expressions. Most of them are sassy, but she has a few funny ones up her sleeve too!
*Babies - real or fake, the girl LOVES babies
*Daddy! I am chopped liver when Drew gets home. Reese is really attached to him right now.

At her 2 year well check today Reese weighed it at a whopping 22 lbs, putting her in the 8% for weight, but 75% for height! She is our little peanut! I sure do love her and feel so lucky to be her mom!

Another Baby Bump

It took us 2.5 years to get pregnant with Maddux and a full 12 months to get pregnant with Reese. So when we finally decided we were ready for #3, we thought it was going to take a while. I didn't want it to, but I was prepared for the stress and agony of keeping First Response Pregnancy Tests in business for the next 12-24 months.

I ran my marathon in January and then, in the beginning of March, on a random whim and with no symptoms I decided to take a test. I about died of shock when it came up positive!

I am now 14 weeks and finally starting to feel better. I still have ZERO energy or motivation, but the nausea is finally starting to pass. I look tubby, not pregnant...so I'm not the biggest fan of this stage. All worth it though! Welcome baby #3 in the beginning of November!
