Maddux turned 4 months yesterday, which means a couple of things....#1: he is getting big SO fast, #2: the "pokey lady" gave him three shots at the doctor's office, #3: he can start eating rice cereal.
He weighs 13 pounds, 11 ounces and is 25.25 inches long!
Maddux did better than I expected at his appointment because he fell asleep right after he got his shots. But he was T.O.'d when he got them! I felt so bad! The first two pics here are of him in the office, before his shots.

I have been so excited to get permission from the doctor to start Maddux on rice cereal. I thought the doctor was crazy when he said to start with just a tablespoon of rice! I get it now!!! I think we somehow ended up with more cereal in the bowl than we had started with! He basically hated it! The faces expressions in these next four pictures pretty well show how it went! ha!

P.S...Maddux slept for 8 hours last night... I am in HEAVEN!!!

Wow, he's already four months! That's crazy! It seems like each time I check out your blog he looks so much older. He's so cute! And I think he should've won that contest!!! Anyway, hope that he'll like the rice cereal! The first feeding is always so fun!
Congrats on getting so much sleep! I'm not looking forward to being sleep deprived any time soon. I got your message, and I'm so sorry I haven't gotten back to you, sick kiddo's. Geeze, 4 months! He is such a cute boy. I'm sure everyone stops you wherever you go and tells you that! 8 hours of sleep is great...See, he is getting there! I'm lucky if I get 4 hours (straight, that is)...which I have only gotten maybe 3 times in the past 6 weeks! I can't wait to get more sleep. It takes a little while for babies to get used to rice cereal. It's so funny to watch them try to eat! Have fun!
P.S. I voted for Maddux every day! I can't believe he didn't win! :0(
He's growing up! Shots, cereal, and sleeping for 8 hours straight! Congrats! The rice pics are really funny! Hopefully he likes it soon.

Okay, so I just entered the lottery for the St. George marathon too. (I saw on Brynn's blog that you did.) Anywho, I doubt that I'll get drawn for it, but perhaps we could do some running together. I don't know about you but I'm absolutely not in shape at all and I kind of have buyer's remorse already. :)
