Saturday was the Pat Tillman Run at ASU. I was really excited to do it this year because it was the last race I ran before having Maddux (I didn't know I was pregnant when I ran it last year) and it was now my first race after having him. It was a lot of fun, but there were WAY too many people (30,000). It got really frustrating when you wanted to run faster, but you couldn't because you're completely boxed in. The worst part of the day was on the drive there when I realized that I had forgotten my Ipod! BUMMER! Luckily I found the Class 30 of the Peace Corps to run next to the whole way. They were singing and chanting , so I decided to stick with them! Anyway, it was a good time for a good cause!

That's so awesome that you got to be involved with that run. My husband, Ryan, and I will be running a half-marathon in September, but there is no reason for it. We just want to do it. I mean that it's not for a good cause or anything--so go you!
Good for you! I wussed out on it with the excuse that I had lots of other things going on. :) If you run another one anytime soon, I'd totally run it with you. I use the term "with you" loosely because I would be far behind you, but I digress. Anyways, way to go! :)
You kicked my arse! That was fun to see you there, even if I was eating your dust.
You skinny girl! I am seriously proud of you. Good job!
I AM AN ASPIRING RUNNER!
Hats off to you! I am a stinky runner, but I try.
Any tips for a beginner??
Nice job!! That's awesome--look at you bouncing right back after having a baby! Do you run races year round in Arizona?
