bad news...good news...

So, yesterday..I was calling to make sure we could have a crib in our room for Maddux on the cruise (we are supposed to leave saturday). Well, turns out Maddux can't have a crib because he isn't even old enough to be allowed on the ship! They have to be 6 months old...Maddux will miss it by only 38 days! oops!!! After much stress, many tears, and a lot of begging and pleading from my dad...Carnival said that they would not make an exception for us.

What a mess! BUT... my family is sooooo nice and decided to reschedule for August so it can be a family vacation with all members included. I'm bummed that a week from today I won't be lounging around getting a tan on my way to Jamaica, but I'm excited to have more time to get my body in bathing suit shape! Also, in the way of good news...it looks like Amber and the kids get to come out here tomorrow! We miss them so much!!

Well good thing you called and weren't in line to get on the ship and they said sorry you can't take him on. That would have been sad to wave goodbye to your family pulling away to JAMAICA! Hehe. But anyway... Just thought I'd let ya know... we're going private. Don't know if you read our blog or not.. but if you wanna be able to read send me a comment with ur email:)

Sounds like to me your good news turned into better news!

Joe and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas for our honeymoon. So fun!

I heard the average person can the equivalent of 2 pounds a day from the food on the ship, and the fact that you can graze morning noon and night if you want. I did.

That is CRAZY! I feel bad that you have to wait a few more months, but I'm glad you are still going.

We leave for our cruise next Saturday. My sister will be 22 weeks along and the cruise will only let you go if you are under 24 weeks. She just barely made it.

I'm sorry to hear about your trip being changed. This is really strange, but my brother is leaving this Saturday too for Jamaica and the Carribbean. However, he is going on Liberty of the Seas--Royal Carribbean.
Anyway, you'll like having him older on the ship. It will make life much happier.
