Maddux is 16 months months now and he is just getting TOO big TOO fast!
He has such an awesome personality and is busy busy busy! I tell people all the time that Maddux is a "super active kid". People always nod their heads and pretend to understand...then they MEET Maddux!! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE having an active little guy, but boy are we busy around here!! I don't think we ever sit still for 10 second at a time! Don't believe me? Let's schedule a play date, come and see!
Maddux never ceases to crack me up, I have so much fun watching him figure things out and become such a little kid. He can say a lot of words when prompted, but mostly sticks to "shoes" and "cheese" when he talks on his own. He sure does jabbers a ton though!
He has stopped walking. Yes...stopped. He has now decided that running everywhere is a much more efficient way of getting places. So, we run!
He has become a great eater but his very favorites right now are cottage cheese, edamame, blackberries, frosted mini wheats, and cheese quesadillas. He will eat these until his little tummy explodes!
We have so much fun and I absolutely love that I get to stay home with this guy every day!! What a blessing!

AMEN! I think that I REALLY understand what you mean by an "active kid"! They are fun though....just crazy! He is so cute Tarah!
I think I have the same picture of you and your sisters talking on the phone. It must run in the family. HaHa
He is so stinking cute!! Only 2 more months till nursery!! I love when they start learning and exploring on their own. This is such a fun age!

Tarah, so glad that you are enjoying motherhood and that you have such an optimistic attitude. Mine are so active and WIRED too--sometimes it kills me. I just don't have energy . . . ever!!
