Definitely won't be winning any Parent-of-the-Year awards over here. I put Maddux down for his nap and he was playing around and jumping off his bed like he always does and then he started this fake-sounding cry. I've given in to it before, and I did a good job of resisting this time. So...here is it 2 hours later and I go in to get him up.....

hahaha! That's happened to me before when Sofie was still in her crib. I came in letter to find her leg stuck through the slat in the side. Oops....
Well maybe he'll learn his lesson about naptime being for naps & not playing. :) I had many similar experiences with Ashtyn. She would get little hair elastics & wrap them really tight on her fingers & toes and after a couple times I was scared not to go check on her when she was doing the fake cry. Kids are such stinkers! :)

Oh that's funny! I'm sure it was still the "fake cry" He's probably just getting creative at finding ways of getting out of nap time ;)

Tarah..it's Melissa...I got on your blog off of Beths. I can't believe how big your little guy is. Congrats on #2.
hahaha--that fake cry can really get you sometimes. last fake cry i ignored i walked into her room and all her clothes were off, including her diaper--it wasn't pretty--awful actually. i felt awful.
Haha-just when you think you have their fake cry all figured out, they get a hanger stuck on their leg! Funny!
